President Al-Mashat meets Deputy PM for Economic Affairs

SANA'A, Jul. 12 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, met on Monday with Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs and Minister of Finance, Dr. Rashid Abu Lahoum.

During the meeting, President Al-Mashat was briefed on the general situation of the state's public finances, despite the difficult conditions the country is going through as a result of the US-Saudi aggression and unjust siege.

President Al-Mashat reviewed with Dr. Abu Lahoum the progress of the half-salary payment procedures before Eid Al-Adha to alleviate the suffering of the employees.

He directed the Ministry of Finance to provide financial resources and coordinate with the competent authorities, local authorities and the Road Maintenance Fund for the maintenance of Sanaa-Taiz road, as it is one of the vital and strategic lines that serve more than one province.
