SANA'A, Jun. 27 (Saba) - The Parliament, in its Sunday session headed by Speaker Yahya Al-Ra’i, approved the report of the Water and Environment Committee regarding the follow-up and evaluation of the performance of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the capital Sana'a.

The approval of the report came after the commitment of the government side, represented by the Minister of Water and Environment Abdulraqeeb Al-Shurmani, to the Parliament recommendations.

In its session, the Parliament also approved the report of the Financial Affairs Committee on its field visit to the customs control centers in Al-Hazm district of Jawf province and in Saqm area of Taiz province.

This came after the commitment of the government side, represented by Head of the Customs Authority, Yousef Ali Zabara, to implement the recommendations contained in the report.
