THAMAR, Jun. 07 (Saba) - Vice President of the General Authority for Agricultural Research and Guidance Dr. Abed Al-Beel discussed here on Sunday with FAO Resident Representative Dr. Hussein Jaden the possible ways to strengthen joint cooperation in the development of agricultural research.

 

 

 

The officials reviewed the authority's available capabilities in fields of research equipment and the qualified cadre in addition to the role the authority to apply the new research techniques to farmers' fields.

 

 

 

They also affirmed that the joint cooperation will continue to develop the Geographical Information System Department in the Authority to draw natural resource maps and to make a land classification at the national level.

 

 

 

Mr. Jaden praised the authority's efforts in agricultural research and development, expressing the FAO's readiness to provide the required assistance to help the authority continue efforts in this regard.
