Electricity Minister meets inventor Aref Hegazi

SANA'A, June 01 (Saba) - Minister of Electricity and Energy Atiq Abbar has met with Yemeni inventor Aref Hegazi.

In the meeting, the Minister of Electricity stressed keenness to implement the directives of the President of the Supreme Political Council to adopt the ideas and inventions of Engineer Hegazi and to provide the means to implement his ideas and benefit from them.

Abbar stressed the importance of encouraging innovations and inventions, supporting them and qualifying them to benefit from them in the electricity and energy sectors.

He directed the formation of a committee to study the issue and implement Hegazi’s inventions and to grant him the position that corresponds to his inventions.

Hegazi previously introduced many inventions in several fields in the electricity sectors, especially in the field of switching stations, manufacturing, fuse rehabilitation and maintenance of fire extinguishers.
