Human rights condemn Saudi authorities' abuse of Yemeni expatriates
[26/May/2021]
SANA'A, May. 26 (Saba) - The Ministry of Human Rights condemned on Tuesday the Saudi authorities' unjustified measures imposed on the Yemeni expatriates at the borderland ports.
The Saudi authorities force the Yemeni expatriates to have the corona vaccine twice, with the aim of delaying their entry to the Saudi territories and, as a result of that, delaying them from returning to their work or ending the legal period required to renew their stay visa.
These procedures have no legal justification and aimed only to subjugate the Yemeni expatriates who have been driven to leave their homes in search of a decent life, the ministry said in a statement received by Saba.
The statement called on the Saudi authorities to deal responsibly with expatriates and provide suitable solutions to end their suffering.
It also called on all international bodies and organizations to protect Yemeni expatriates from such abuses.
