SANA'A, Apr. 22 (Saba) - Shabwa governor Ahmed al-Amir condemned on Thursday the escalation of the US-Saudi-Emirati occupation forces against the people of Shabwa province.
In a statement, al-Amir said the arrests and levies imposed against the people of Shabwa are crimes, noting the illegal taxes imposed by the aggression and its mercenaries on the commercial and service sectors in Ataq city in exchange for what they called "security protection".
The aggression's mercenaries loot monthly 1.2 million barrels of Shabwa's crude oil from the Radhum port, which becames a station to receive the smuggled fuel shipments by the pro-aggression oil mafia.
The governor called on the free people in Shabwa to confront such criminal practices, reject any illegal taxes, and work for releasing all detainees from Shabwa and the southern provinces in the secret prisons of the occupation forces.
