Aggression increases malnutrition, mortality rates among children
[13/March/2021]
SANA'A, Mar. 13 (Saba) – The US-Saudi aggression coalition and its blockade increase the number of malnourished children and the mortality rates of newborns and children in Yemen.
Years of aggression led to food insecurity and acute malnutrition that threatened the lives of half of children under the age of five.
The humanitarian crisis continues to cause serious damage to children physically and mentally, according to the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), UNICEF, the World Food Programme (WFP) and World Health Organization (WHO).
