Mahweet, Jan. 28 (Saba) - The Civil Defense Authority branch in Mahweet province launched a program of security, public safety and self-protection in public and private facilities in the province.

 

Director of the Authority's branch in the province Captain Adel Issa explained that the program comes in accordance with Civil Defense Law No. 24 of 1997 and its executive regulations.

 

Issa stressed the Authority will take legal measures against violators and subject them to the provisions of the Civil Defense Law.

 

In return, deputy director of the Authority's branch Captain Essam Battah called on the owners of public and private facilities to provide security and safety equipment and cooperate with the Authority to serve the public interest.
