SANA'A, Jan. 12 (Saba) - The Joint Meeting Parties (JMP) condemned on Monday the weak position of the United Nations and its special envoy for Yemen regarding the ongoing siege on the Yemeni people for nearly six years.
In a statement, the JMP affirmed that international tolerance of the aggression and the siege imposed on Yemen is unacceptable and lifted the United Nations' role out of neutrality to active participation with the aggression in all its crimes.
Relying on the United Nations and its envoy is nothing but a waste of time, the statement said, indicating that the continuation of the criminal siege imposed on the Yemeni people allow the army and popular committees to respond extensively and continuously in the depths of the countries of aggression.
The JMP's statement stressed the need to lift the blockade and open Sana'a airport and all Yemeni seaports and outlets.
