GPC condemns America's decision over Ansarullah

SANA'A, Jan. 12 (Saba) - The General People's Congress (GPC) and its allies condemned on Monday the decision of the United States of America to classify Ansarullah a terrorist organization.

In a statement, the GPC and its allies confirmed the decision of the outgoing President Donald Trump's administration will have negative repercussions on peace and political settlement in Yemen.

The statement added the decision will complicate the international efforts aimed at finding solutions that lead to ending the suffering of the Yemeni people.

The statement pointed out the decision is unacceptable and the United States State Department should have pushed towards stopping the aggression and ending the blockade and supporting peace efforts instead of complicating the situation in Yemen.

The statement called on international bodies and organizations not to deal with the unilateral American decision that reflects the desire of the Trump administration, complicating the political scene in Yemen and prolonging the aggression and blockade imposed on the Yemeni people.
