ABYAN, Jan. 06 (Saba) - The Ministry of Fisheries in the National Salvation Government in Sana'a on Thursday condemned the confiscation of a number of fishing boats of fishermen from Abyan governorate by Saudi-led aggression coalition.

"These practices amount to war crimes," the ministry said in a statement.

This has contributed to exacerbating the suffering of fishermen, as the fishing profession is the only source of their livelihood, the ministry added.

The statement called on international organizations to put pressure on the aggression countries and work to stop these violations against fishermen along the coastal strip of Yemen in general.
