SANA'A, Dec. 28 (Saba) - Branch of the Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) in the capital Sana'a distributed on Sunday food baskets and winter clothes for the affected in al-Thawrah district.
The aid included the distribution of 70 food baskets for teachers at al-Sammad School at al-Thawra and winter clothes for 40 other beneficiaries in the district as well.
Also, the distribution of blankets and winter clothes to about 145 affected and needy families.
Branch director of the SCMCHA Abdul Wahab Sharaf al-Din explained the aid comes within the projects and activities that are implemented in support of community initiatives and civil society organizations in coordination with local councils in the districts.
Sharaf al-Din indicated that there are charitable and humanitarian activities and initiatives that will be implemented during the coming days to provide shelter and food assistance to the displaced and affected families and the neediest groups in the capital districts in a way that will contribute to alleviating their suffering.
