HODEIDA, Nov. 28 (Saba) - The Supreme Council for Management and Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (SCMCHA) has inaugurated the distribution of 300 food kits for Internally displaced Persons (IDPs).

Funded by Yemen Relief and Reconstruction Foundation, the distribution of the kits took place on Friday in al-Laweyah area in al-Durayhimi district of Hodeida province.

SCMCHA branch director in Hodeida Jaber al-Razehi indicated the importance of joining efforts of government agencies and humanitarian organizations to provide relief to the IDP in the district.

Al-Razehi called on humanitarian and international organizations to play their humanitarian role and to support displaced families with sustainable development projects that would make them live with dignity.

The branch director stressed that the SCMCHA branch is ready to overcome difficulties and facilitate the tasks of relief organizations to reach displaced people in various districts of the province.
