SANA'A, Nov. 24 (Saba) - Minister of Planning and International Cooperation Abdulaziz al-Kumaim met here on Monday with Resident Representative of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) Philippe Duamelle.

 

In the meeting, al-Kumaim and Duamelle reviewed the possible ways to strengthen cooperation and partnership between Yemen and UNICEF, particularly in the field of child care.

 

They also discussed cooperation to improve social protection indicators (SPI), reduce the catastrophic impacts caused by aggression against Yemen and the living conditions of the poor and the poorest groups.

 

Al-Kumaim stressed the government's keenness to provide all facilities to enable the organization to carry out its duties in a way that contributes to strengthening cooperation frameworks between Yemen and UNICEF.
