SANA'A, Nov. 24 (Saba) - Agriculture and Irrigation Minister discussed here on Monday with Iranian ambassador to Yemen areas of cooperation between the two countries in the agricultural field.
In the meeting, Minister Abdul Malik al-Thawr affirmed Yemen's interest in benefiting from Iranian expertise in the agricultural field, in particular in agricultural research and mechanization and combating desertification.
The Minister also stressed the importance of preparing a cooperation protocol between two countries in the agricultural field.
On his part, Iranian ambassador Hassan Irloo affirmed his willingness to strengthen cooperation with Yemen, indicating that Iran has the capacity to produce seeds and increase its productivity, which has enabled Iran to overcome the economic blockade.
