[21/September/2020]

SANAA, Sep. 21 (Saba) - Prime Minister Dr. Abdul Aziz Bin Habtour discussed on Sunday with Foreign Minister Hisham Sharaf the ministry's efforts in following up the aggression countries' violations and criminal acts against the Yemeni land and people.

The Foreign Minister explained the latest developments of the Ministry's follow-up at the UN Security Council regarding the attempts to change the reality of the Yemeni lands and borders in Mahrah province and Socotra Island.

He pointed out that a related legal memo was sent to the Security Council to be informed about the changes Saudi Arabia and UAE try to make on the national boundaries.

The memo confirmed that such acts violates the international laws, especially in the case of wars and conflicts, which is temporarily and does not allow the parties to the conflict to make such acts, he said.

He stressed that authorities in Sana'a regularly informed the permanent and non-permanent Security Council members all details about the Saudi Arabia and the UAE interventions in Yemeni affairs and the war crimes committed by their military and security officials in the country.

On the other hand, Sharaf informed the Prime Minister about the ministry's efforts concerning the condemnation of the normalization with the Zionist entity made by a number of the region countries in addition to the ongoing coordination with a number of resistance axis countries and the Palestinian side in this regard.
