SANAA, Aug. 5 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat has confirmed the Republic of Yemen's solidarity with the brotherly Lebanese people and the Lebanese government over the result of Beirut explosion that occurred on Tuesday evening.

In a telegram sent to Lebanese President Michel Aoun, al-Mashat expressed Yemen's solidarity with the brotherly government and the people of Lebanon in this unfortunate incident.

He expressed his sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.

The President called for solidarity in support of the Lebanese people and the Lebanese Government with the necessary support to overcome the effects of the damage to the port of Beirut and its repercussions as soon as possible.
