Yemen Gas Company to resume distributing domestic gas to civilians

SANAA, Sep. 5 (Saba) - Yemen's Gas Company has resumed distributing gas to citizens, vehicles, major consumers, factories, restaurants and poultry farms.

A company official said to Saba that the company began distributing imported gas on Friday after entering a ship carrying 12,000 tons of domestic gas.

The official added that this quantity will enable the company to meet the need of domestic gas for a period in the capital Sanaa and other provinces.

The company affirmed its keenness to provide domestic gas to alleviate the suffering of citizens as a result of aggression, blockade and the continued detention of oil and gas derivative ships.
