RAYMA, Aug. 13 (Saba) – The Attorney General Judge Nabil al-Azzani on Thursday inspected during his visit to Rayma province the status of the judiciary in the province and ways to enhance coordination with the local authority bodies and address prisoners' cases.

The Attorney General met with the local authority leaders in the province, in the presence of head of the province's court of appeals Judge Abdullah al-Dailami, head of the appeals prosecution office Judge Abdullah al-Ahmar, members of the Court of Appeal, and employees of the Public Prosecution.

In the meeting, the Attorney General directed an investigation into all incidents of negligence on the performance of the duty by the concerned agencies in dealing with flood damage that caused some people to drown, demolished homes, and destroyed roads and bridges.

Judge al-Azzani stressed the importance of complementary roles between the state agencies, especially the judiciary and security, as the justice system is concerned with securing the lives of citizens and preserving public and rights, and public and private property.
