House of Representatives Presidency condemns aggression massacre in al-Jawf
[09/August/2020]

SANAA, Aug. 9 (Saba) - The Presidency of the House of Representatives condemned the continuation of the Saudi-led coalition in committing horrific massacres against the Yemeni people, the most recent of which was the massacre in al-Matira area in Al-Jawf province.

In a statement issued today, the Commission stressed that the failure and negligence of the international community and the United Nations in removing the name of the Saudi-led Coalition from the blacklist of child killers in Yemen and the policy of double standards encouraged the coalition of aggression to commit more horrific crimes against the children and women of Yemen and in full view of the international community, United Nations organizations in various names and human rights organizations.

He said that the move was a disgrace to the United Nations and its affiliated bodies and to the failure of the duty, legal and moral responsibility and the hopes and aspirations of the Yemeni people to achieve justice and retribution for murderers and to refer them as war criminals to international courts.

The statement pointed out that the number of victims of massacres committed by the aggression after the announcement of the United Nations to remove the name of the coalition of aggression from the blacklist in mid-June nearly 100 citizens, most of them children and women.

The statement stressed that the crimes and massacres of aggression are documented and are full-fledged war crimes that do not fall under the statute of limitations.

The Presidency of the House of Representatives called on parliaments and all the free people of the world to put pressure on states and governments and expose the crimes and massacres committed daily against children in Yemen.
