SANAA, July 6 (Saba) - The Parliamentary Committee in charge of studying the draft spending plan for the public budgets for 2020 held a meeting Monday, headed by Speaker of the Parliament Yahya Ali al-Ra'i.

In the meeting, the House's Speaker stressed the importance of commitment to rationalizing expenditures within the specific aspects of what benefits citizens.

Al-Ra'i indicated to the necessity of putting in place solutions that ensure paying the salaries of state employees, and working on providing oil derivatives to meet the needs of the market.

The House's Speaker urged the parliamentary committee to implement the legislative and supervisory tasks entrusted to it and to quickly complete the reports and submit them to the parliament, especially with regard to studying the draft spending plan for the state budget for 2020.
