HODEIDAH, June 3 (Saba) - An awareness workshop on precautionary measures to tackle the novel Corona virus was held on Tuesday in al-Hali district in Hodeidah province.
The workshop, organized by the Technical Committee for Fighting Epidemics in the province with the participation of members of the local council and health, education and endowment officials, came aimed at activating the awareness teams, and setting a chronic plan to strengthen precautionary measures to avoid the epidemic in the district.
The acting governor Mohammad Ayyash al-Qahim urged everyone to redouble efforts to implement the plan to confront the epidemic and preserve public health.
He said the workshop comes within the efforts of the technical committee to enhance preventive awareness among citizens in all district, adding the seriousness of the current stage requires uniting efforts and working with a one-team spirit to confront the Corona epidemic.
Al-Qahim stressed the importance of taken measures in the face of Corona and the need to contribute significantly to the spreading awareness, noting the importance of media in supporting efforts to confront the epidemic.
