SANAA, April 16 (Saba) – The security services seized four tons and 864 kilograms of hashish and arrested 329 accused of promoting and smuggling drugs during last March, Interior Ministry spokesperson Brigadier General Abdelkhaleq al-Ajri said on Thursday.

Al-Ajri indicated that the General Department for Combating Drugs seized, during the same period, 473 tablets of various narcotic drugs, one kilo and 942 grams of raw anesthetic caffeine, and 80 grams of narcotic amphetamines.

The Ministry of Interior had foiled the scheme of Saudi-led aggression coalition countries that sought to drown Yemen with drugs through using mercenaries, the spokesperson added.
