Washington, Feb. 26 (Saba) - Doctors at the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) warned Wednesday that turning the Coronavirus (CD-19) into a global epidemic is no longer a possibility but a matter of time.
US website reported statements by American doctors after the position of the US Secretary of Health and Human Services, Alex Michael Azar II, that there are more COVID-19 infections in the United States.
The secretary stressed that Washington is working to strengthen its readiness to contain the virus by strengthening laboratory work, explaining that the U.S. administration is working to develop vaccines and activate border control systems to contain it, pointing out that the travel ban to countries most affected by the new Corona virus granted the United States enough time to prepare.
Azar appealed to the private sector to contribute to the response to the coronavirus, pointing out: "We need to fund more research to find vaccines and provide preventive supplies," stressing that his country "is determined to maintain travel restrictions with China, while Us President Donald Trump, stressing that the coronavirus under Control in the United States.
