SANAA, Feb. 25 (Saba) - Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs Abdul Mohsen Tawoos discussed on Tuesday with the UNDP the means for enhancing the humanitarian action and development projects.

The move came during his meeting with Nahid Hussein, Deputy Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Yemen.

Tawoos stressed on the importance of carrying out projects being provided by the UNDP for contributing to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni citizens.

"The council's keenness to provide all facilities to overcome any difficulties or challenges that might face the UNDP and its workers in Yemen," Tawoos added.

Meanwhile, UNDP official affirmed that the Programme exerted further efforts to provide services and achieve humanitarian and development targets.
