Ballistic missiles hit Yanbu


SANAA, Feb. 21 (Saba) - The industrial city of Yanbu in Saudi Arabia was attacked by Yemeni ballistic missiles on Friday.

Yanbu Industrial and Economic City is the global “oil gateway”, and Saudi Aramco exports about 48% of Saudi crude oil production capacity and its derivatives to international markets through the port of Yanbu.

Yanbu Port consists of 7 stations including general cargo station, containers and consists of 7 berths and the water depth of these piers reaches 14 meters. It receives ships with a cargo load of up to 60,000 tons.

Yanbu Industrial City is situated on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast and hosts major downstream oil and petrochemicals facilities.
