SANAA, Jan.21 (Saba) - A workshop on referral methods for the protection of women on Tuesday started in Sanaa, organized by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor in cooperation with the United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA).

The three-day workshop, with the participation of 35 specialists from the ministry and its offices in 14 provinces, will discuss women's protection services, methods of information management and productive families programs, and the roles of social affairs offices.

The workshop will also deal with aspects of coordination between the Ministry and its offices and referral mechanisms, as well as reviewing successful experiences of productive families and economic empowerment in ways that are commensurate with the economic nature of each province.
