SANAA, Dec. 21 (Saba) - The Parliament on Saturday held its meeting headed by Speaker Yahya Ali al-Rai, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor and members of the National Salvation Government.
At the meeting, al-Ra'i confirmed the House’s keenness on the home front unity and avoiding the differences and quarrels that serve the aggression countries.
Al-Ra'i stressed the important of this meeting to listen to the government's responses and clarifications on a number of issues, and to discuss them jointly in order to find remedies for them.
In this regard, the Prime Minister indicated to the complementary relationship between the legislative and oversight authorities.
Dr. bin Habtoor confirmed the government's readiness to respond to any observations or questions on the issues relating to the government performance.
In this context, the parliament members discussed the measures matrix submitted by the government to the House, confirming their keenness on the success of the government's performance in its various aspects.
At the end of the meeting, the parliament decided to refer the matrix and papers submitted by the government to the concerned parliamentary committee to study them and submit its report to the House next Wednesday, and to summon the government's head and members next Saturday to discuss the report.
