Captives... Giants' patience...

Captives... Giants' patience...

[25/November/2019]

SANAA, Nov. 25 (Saba) - The prisons of Hodeidah, Mansoura, Khor Maksar and Bir Ahmed in Aden province are inhabited by tales of torture, whipping with whips, acupuncture, burning, stun , starvation and neglect, and its walls are written down the story of a hidden captive, and the last died torture, and the last released to tell his story In (Living Tombs). The liberated prisoner, Mohammed Abdo Mohammed Saleh al-Rimi, narrates his story of "The People of al Ginn" on the west coast of Hodeidah and ended up being held captive in four prisons, the last of which was The Bir Ahmed in Aden.

A 20-year-old man from al Haymah Ad Dakhiliyah District, west of the capital Sanaa, 90 km away, went to the West Coast Front in September 2015 to join the ranks of the army and popular committees in the quiet front, where the clashes have not yet flared up.

Mohammed trained half a month to fight, then the winds of stagnant confrontation hit the quiet front to become the most flaming in the battles lines with mercenaries and the forces of the so-called (legitimacy) hastened to blockade and encirclement the mountain chain (people of jinn) the camp where Mohammad and his colleagues are located and the encirclement continued for three days accompany with launches airstrikes on the camp, injuring and killing numbers of gun men.

Lurking…?

The bombing left (its victims) injured, so their colleagues decided to help them in the hope of their chances of survival, so they carried them and started their adventure in a sprawling desert that forced them to walk three kilometers and after hours appeared a number of armored vehicles lurking heroes and their wounded at the end of the desert and they were surprised the (heroes of patience) with a barrage of random bullets some were martyred while others were seriously injured.

On the front lines of the fighting, life choices are diminishing in the face of the power of death. Mohammed al-Rimi hastened to carry (Ammar Swar) his childhood friend and companion in the front of the fighting on his back to help him because his wounds were broken from a fragment in the neck injured by the airstrikes on the camp, everyone shares the task of rescuing their wounded comrades in a desert that devours its visitors with several options for death and their fall in captivity was a declaration of possible death.

After a barrage of bullets and the deliberate execution of prisoners carried out by mercenaries, some of the wounded and paramedics were immediately martyred and the rest were transferred to a prison in the village of al-Saqiya in Hodeidah province, which counts a number of injured due to negligence from the jailers who refused to transfer the injured for treatment in the nearest hospital to have major surgeries on them, prison officials assured the prisoners that the leadership of the Aggression Alliance refused to help them.

In accordance with international humanitarian law and as in religious laws and moral principles, the prisoner is known to be any person, whether combatant or non-combatant, detained by hostile forces to him during or immediately after the armed conflict and enjoys rights such as not to be tried, not to be tortured, to receive full medical treatment and  the use of the International Red Cross to monitor his health, to contact his relatives and to treat him humanely from his arrest until his release and his right to food, respect and decent clothing.

The championship is repeated in the battle fronts where Mohammed continued to take care of Ammar in prison despite his hopeless condition and allowed him prison officials to stay with his friend until he tells them when he dies, Amar spreads his friend's arm waiting to die and continued to nod to Mohammed until he reassures him that he's still suffering in prison and memories, in turn, Mohammed stayed up watching Ammar waiting for a beautiful fate for a new life written to his friend in the midst of the rush of death.

The week passed Mohammad chewed anxiety and fear with his daily meals and finally Ammar muttered calling Muhammad the companion of childhood and destiny and gradually began to heal to become Ammar the talk of prisoners about the miracle of survival from the death.

Unknown…?

The journey of captivity began to take its unknown course with Mohammed and his 33 fellow prisoners where they were transferred after three months spent in the prison village of al-Saqiya to a school turned "prison" in al Mansoora city district in Aden province, his humanitarian conditions were worse than the previous where Mohammed and his family companions remained for six months suffered severe beatings, hard work and punishment of standing half a full day under the sun, constant investigation, psychological warfare, attempting to change the military doctrine and threatening physical liquidation, especially since the prisoners in that prison were forcibly hidden.

The pains are compounded in the prison solitude where the neglect of hygiene and its tools from prison officials and the lack of clean clothes in addition to the nature of the hot area to the spread of skin diseases among the prisoners and wounds of injured became suppurated, while the prison officials deliberately beat them with sticks in their wounds, which compounded their poor condition and deterioration Their health status.

To hunger his story where the prison administration disavowed the simplest rights of prisoners to food and provided them with only one meal a day, and some food sometimes, and Mohammed remembers the suffering of prisoners during the three months of Ramadan spent in captivity between preventing food, hunger and torture in death prisons.

Third Station..?

A new station for torture in Khormaksar prison and the beginning of suffering from beatings, intimidation and selective separation, where prisoners were separated from the army and committees in prison and prisoners of the army from the central security in another prison and fighters from the provinces of Saada, Amran and Hajjah in another cell in the prison.

And in the hands of the avenger, mercenaries were quick to execute the prisoners whenever the heroes of the army and committees achieved a victory on the ground in the battles where three officers of the Central Security was dragged by tanks in addition to the slaughter of one of the prisoners for suspecting a related link between him and one of the leaders of the army and committees and the killing of a group of officers by throwing Shot.

They passed from there. They settled here in Bir Ahmed prison, where smells of death are known.

What is new in their journey is that Asma Mohammed and his companions have joined the lists of prisoners and are no longer hidden and their lives are dealt with by an absolute condition.

Bir Ahmed prison "monster" prison, where human rights reports criticized the conditions of prisoners, and revealed various methods of torture that end with the death of the prisoner or hindered him psychologically and physically, and the prison includes a large number of prisoners from all fronts of the fighting (Daesh, al-Qaeda, prisoners of conscience, forcibly hidden, opponents and citizens).

The prison walls surrounded The Freedom of Muhammad two years in Bir Ahmed, where the torture was different from the previous prisons, where the prisoners of the army and popular committees were combined with prisoners of ISIS militants in one prison, which caused quarrels and bloody battles between the two parties until there was a rebellion in the prison on one of the times in which the prisoners of the army and popular committees demanded separated them from ISIS militants, which led prison officials to place the prisoners in solitary confinement for more than two months and then decided to go on hunger strike collectively until they were separated from ISIS militants.

Some organizations were able to reach the prisoners in Bir Ahmed, meet them, listen to their complaints, reassure their families, alleviate the suffering of the prisoners and provide them with some clean clothes; it brought them moments back to a date of joy.

The prisoner is separated from the world and plays the role of the calendar, where Mohammed al-Rimi remembers the history of captives and movement from one prison to another and the hunger strike and solitary confinement and the long waiting day in which the prisoners were confirmed to leave in an exchange deal and start the implementation of the deal and when the prisoners arrive in Habilayn in the province of Lahij the leadership of the Coalition of Aggression decided to thwart and stop the exchange and threatened to bomb the prisoners, so everyone returned to their prisons in the hope of a pending free deal.

The "merchants of deception" continue to sell the dream, and prison officers set up dates for the prisoners with an exchange deal behind the scenes, preparing and closing the doors of joy every month, every day and every year.

To withstand his heroes and prisoners "giants of patience" they sociable their solitude in the darkness of prison by sticking to the faraj of allah (Relief) and reading the Qur'an, 21 Ramadan was a free date for the prisoner Mohammed al-Rimi and Ammar Swar and their companions in an exchange deal for prisoners ended the suffering of three years and ten months in prisons of torture, and joins the freed prisoners to more than 7000 Prisoners liberated from both sides during 300 exchanges, according to The National Committee for Prisoners' Affairs Chairman Abdelkader Al-Murtada.

Mohammed al-Rimi wishes all prisoners freedom and believes that the chronic diseases that he suffered from osteoporosis and sensitivity in the chest and pain joints and jaw do not hurt him like the beast of the prison and the brutality of the jailer, which accompanies nightmares in his sleep and haunts him with disturbing memories in his quiet diary.

It is still a final chapter in the story of Mohammed, the young polite who will soon be married, the stubborn prisoner returning to the noise of battles on the fronts, and the bold fighter with the decision that believes that he will never leave the prison again.

Muhammad told the story of the prisoners of war, the heroes of waiting and digging history with his blood memories in the prison wall when calculating and recording time, days and time was Muhammad's only mission to monitor the dates of suffering and hope.
