SANAA, Nov. 17 (Saba) - President of the Supreme Political Council Mahdi al-Mashat on Saturday met with Head of the Supreme Judicial Council Judge Ahmed Al-Mutwakil, the Attorney General Judge Nabil al-Azzani and Minister of Interior Major General Abdulkarim al-Houthi.

The meeting discussed the ongoing efforts to improve prisons conditions in the capital Sanaa and the provinces, in accordance with directives of the Revolution Leader Sayyed Abdulmalik al-Houthi.

During the meeting, President al-Mashat was briefed on the coordination between the various concerned agencies and the results of joint meetings with the Presidential Office and the implementation of the agreed mechanism to deal with the situation of prisoners and prisons.

Al-Mashat urged the judiciary bodies and the prosecution to expedite the completion of cases and decide on them to remove grievances resulting from the delay in litigation procedures.
