SANAA, Nov. 2 (Saba) – The Yemeni army air defenses have shot down a US drone aircraft  in  Asir province late on Friday, according to a Yemen's army Spokesman Yahya Saria statement.

The plane, ScanEagle, was conducting espionage and hostile operations near the border province when was targeted, Saria added.
