HOUSTON, April 16 (Saba)- Minister of Oil and Minerals Ahmed Abdullah Draess met on Tuesday with Vice President of Total Group in the United States of America.

At the meeting , the company's official presented a summary on the offshore exploration operations in the United States and the way of drilling and production in the offshore areas starting from receiving the sector and the signing of the agreement with the federal government up to the company's business plan.

The Minister of Oil and Minerals and the delegation accompanying him expressed their admiration with the great speed and interval between the start of negotiations and the process of granting the agreement and starting of the company's work up to the announcement production quantities.

It is worthy to mention here that the Ministry of Oil and Minerals has announced recently several offshore and onshore sectors to international companies.
