SANA'A, May 18 (Saba)- CDMA network operator Yemen Mobile and open connectivity services provider AMD Telecom have finalised the launch of sms hub system worldwide.

AMD Telecom provided full collaboration and compliance with Yemen Mobile's needs and standards for the sms hub system.

Yemen Mobile is a CDMA 2000 network provider founded in Yemen 2004 by the Yemen ministry of telecommunication and is considered the first CDMA network operator in the Middle East.

Yemen Mobile CDMA system is based on the HUAWEI Technologies. Prior to CDMA 2000, IS-95 was in use by some cities in Yemen like Aden.
