SANA'A, May 08 (Saba) - Parliament approved on Sunday a loan agreement of $ 35 million to finance the 3rd phase of major road intersection project in the Capital Sana'a.

The agreement has been signed between the government and the Arab Fund for Economic and Social Development (AFESD).

Chaired by parliament speaker Yahya al-Ra'i, the parliament recommended the government to speed up the implementation of the loan-funded road intersections immediately after the ratification of the agreement.

The parliament's recommendations included prompting the government to choose the companies of high financial and technical qualifications to implement the road intersections according to the international specifications.

Parliament urged the municipality of the capital to quickly complete the implementation the 2nd phase of the major road intersections in the capital.
