EgyptAir cancels flights during curfew hours

CAIRO, Jan. 31 (Saba) -- Egypt's national airlines EgyptAir announced on Monday that the company would abide by the curfew imposed by the military and has cancelled all the flights during the period, Xinhua News has reported.
EgyptAir has cancelled all the flights during curfew hours, between 3 p.m. (1300 GMT) to 8 a.m. (0600 GMT), on Tuesday.
EgyptAir urged travelers who have booked flights to contact the company to confirm their flights before heading to the airport.
Meanwhile, the company operated on Monday around 31 flights, including seven charters, reported state news agency MENA.
Curfew has been imposed on Greater Cairo, Alexandria and Suez, due to uprising unrest in these governorates as thousands of protesters stormed the streets demanding the oust of President Hosni Mubarak.
The unrest in Egypt has led to the deaths of more than 100, leaving thousands injured and lots of people subject to looters.
