Syrian Prime Minister Visits Turkey Tomorrow

Damscus, Dec. 19 (Saba) - Syrian Prime Minister Muhammad Naji al-Otari is to visit Turkey tomorrow, Monday at the invitation of his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Qatar News Agency (QAN) has reported.
During the visit, Naji al-Otari will chair the Syrian delegation to the higher Syrian- Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council meeting due to open the same day in Ankara.
The Syrian Premier will also have talks with senior officials there with a view to enhancing ties of joint cooperation in the several economic, developmental and cultural domains.
Syria and Turkey had signed an agreement for the setting up of Higher Syrian-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council during Syrian President Bashar al assad to Turkey on Sept. 16, 2009.
''The Syrian-Turkish relations have made remarkable progress and turned into a strategic partnership between the two countries; the benefits of this partnership will not be restricted to both countries, but they will also include other countries,'' said Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan .
