Iran Not to Change Policies with New FM

Tehran, December 14 (Saba) - Iran's Foreign Ministry spokesman Ramin Mehmanparast said here on Tuesday that the change in Iran's Foreign Ministry has no impact on the country's macro policies in the international affairs. Mehmanparast told reporters during his weekly press briefing that Iran's foreign policy will not be affected by the recent switch in the office of foreign minister, Iran's official news agency (IRNA) reported.
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad appointed Ali-Akbar Salehi, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI), as the caretaker of the Foreign Ministry on Monday. Mottaki had been Iran's foreign minister since 2005.
