US missile strike in Pakistan kills 10, wounds 5

ISLAMABAD, Aug 14 (Saba) -- With no respite in violence amid devastating floods and torrential rains, a unilateral missile strike on Saturday killed at least ten militants and wounded five others in the bordering Pakistani tribal agency, said officials, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
At least two missiles were fired at a suspected militant compound in Esori village of Mir Ali district in North Waziristan tribal agency, security officials told KUNA.
They said the strike killed at least ten militants and wounded five others. The strike was first since floods have devastated a large swath of Pakistan killing more than 1300 and wounding an equal number of others, while, millions have been displaced.
