Eight Iraqi Soldiers Killed North of Baghdad

Baghdad, August 11 (Saba) - A bomb explosion in a town north of Baghdad on Wednesday killed eight Iraqi army soldiers and wounded four others, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
The bomb exploded in the early morning when soldiers raided a house in the town of Sadiya, northeast of Diyala''s capital Baquba, police said.
The soldiers had been fired upon from the house, an Interior Ministry source said. The soldiers called in support and surrounded the house.
The house blew up, killing the eight soldiers and wounding another four.
