Iran took decisions to counter int''l sanctions -- Ahmedinejad

TEHRAN, Aug 8 (Saba) -- Iran took several decisions and steps to counter the international economic sanctions, President Ahmedinejad said on Sunday, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
Speaking at an event in Tehran, Ahmedinejad affirmed that Iran would be developing its own brand of local products and would export such goods as a step to counter the sanctions imposed on Iran due to its nuclear program.
Ahmedinejad noted that despite the EU sanctions, the volume of Iranian economy has reached USD 900 billion, adding that EU imports to Iran were at USD 24 billion.
