Khartoum, August 07 (Saba) - Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir has reiterated that the Doha platform is the final platform to negotiate the settlement of Darfur's issue, calling upon the armed movements to join it, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).

The Sudanese-Chadian borders became safe after the normalization of ties between Khartoum and N'Djamena, President Al Bashir said, noting that his country has started the establishment of development projects on the borders of the two sides.

The Sudanese President pointed out that the normalization of ties with Chad was the key for peace in Darfur.

He added that Sudan was absolutely sure that there was no Chadian support to the Darfur rebellions as Sudan also committed not to host or support Chadian opposition.
