Six Civilians Killed, Nine Injured in Afghanistan

Kabul, August 01 (Saba) - Six civilians were killed and nine others injured by a roadside bomb in southern Afghanistan on Sunday, according to Qatar News Agency (QNA).
Provincial government spokesman Zulmai Ayobi said that two men, two women and two children were killed and nine others were injured when a roadside bomb blew up a civilian vehicle in Maiwand district of southern province of Kandahar Sunday morning.
The wounded were taken to a provincial hospital, he noted.
Separately, three children were injured by another roadside bomb Sunday in Kandahar's Arghandab district, the spokesman said.
