SANA'A, May 22 (Saba) – The Ministry of Tourism is to start ,as of the beginning of next June, the implementation of first phase of a draft plan to improve the quality of tourist services provided in the tourist facilities throughout the country.

Director-General of Tourist Facilities at the Ministry Abdul Jabar Naji told Saba on Saturday that the draft plan comes in the implementation of Prime Minister Decision No. (307) for 2007 on the list of specifications of tourist classification for the tourist enterprises.

The implementation of the draft plan aims at applying the list of control and supervision on the quality of tourist services and continuous follow-up on the level of compatibility of services provided in all the tourist facilities with the specifications according to the class of the enterprise, Naji pointed out.

Moreover, he explained that the second phase of the draft plan aims to categorizing services of food, travel, transport, and renting vehicles, as well as services of producing and selling the traditional handicrafts.
