SANA'A, May 15 (Saba) - The Supreme Supervisory Committee for the establishment of stock market discussed here on Saturday the suggestion of instituting a stock market authority that would finalize the required procedures to set up the market.

The committee, which was chaired by the Minister of Finance Nu'aman al-Suhaybi talked about the required procedures for establishing stock market.

The committee's member also dealt with the plan of action to set up the market, which is to be established in cooperation with Jordanian expert team, in addition to the challenges impede carrying out the plan.

The Minister affirmed the importance to take real procedures in this regard and to agree on setting standards and specifications for the establishment of the authority and selecting its cadres as well as the establishment time frame.

He also noted to the significance of drafting a market stock law, talking about the positive impact of this step for the national economy.
