SANA'A, May 12 (Saba)- HH Sheikha Mozha bint Nasser al-Missned, Board Chairwoman of the Qatar Silateck institution, announced here on Wednesday the institution's allocation of $2 million as a grant to support the non-profit financial works carried out by Al-Amal Bank.

The announcement was made during her visit to the bank headquarters in Sana'a as she hailed the pioneering experience of Yemen in this field in the Arab region, noting the significance to encourage such initiatives and provide all required support for they represent one of the vital and active mechanisms to combat poverty.

Sheikh Mozah also got acquainted with the non-profit activities of the Bank through supporting the poor categories and its successes in this domain.
