SANA'A, May 11 (Saba)- Minister of Industry and Trade Yahya al-Mutawakil discussed on Tuesday with the resident representative of the UNDP Pratibha Mehta aspects of joint cooperation as well as coming steps to execute the ministry's Diversifying Yemen Economy Program.

The minister praised the UNDP financial and technical support for Yemen, in general, and the ministry, in particular, specially for sectors of industry and trade as they are considered of the basic sectors which could contribute to supporting the non-oil economic growth and creating more job opportunities.

They agreed to continue consultation meetings in order to support the industrial and trade sectors.
