Omani, Arab oil investments welcomed in Yemen

br> ADEN, May 04 (Saba) –The Executive Director of Aden Refinery Company (ARC) Najeeb al-Awaj welcomed on Tuesday the Omani and Arab investments in the modernization project of ARC, to be implemented in the coming months.

In his meeting with the Omani delegation currently visiting Yemen, led by Board Chairman of Al-Waha Energy Company Thamer al-Shanfari, al-Awaj confirmed the ARC's support to those investments and they would enjoy all necessary facilities.

The two sides discussed aspects of joint cooperation between the two companies and means of boosting them so as to serve the common interest of the two brotherly countries.

In additional, they reviewed what was agreed upon between the two companies over the last month on enhancing areas of cooperation in the field of supplying ships with fuel and other areas and they approved to begin the implementation of this agreement during the coming days.

For his part, the chairman of the Omani company, al-Shanfari, pointed to what this agreement represents in strengthening the bilateral relations between the two companies in the various fields.

In the same field, al-Awaj met representatives of the Kuwaiti Company (ABJ) and the UAE Company (Vitol) and discussed with them joint cooperation in the areas of refining oil derivatives and prospects for boosting them.
