Turkish-flagged ship hijacked in Kenya

ANKARA, April 7 (Saba) -- A Turkish-flagged ship named "YASIN- C" was hijacked in Kenya on Wednesday, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported, according to Xinhua.
Turkish maritime undersecretariat was quoted as saying that pirates hijacked the ship 270 nautical miles off Mombasa Port of Kenya.
There are 25 Turkish crew members aboard the ship which was carrying cargo from Ukraine to Kenya.
On March 26, a press release issued by the Turkish Maritime Undersecretariat said pirates off the shores of Nigeria attacked a Turkish-flagged ship Ozay-5, wounding two Turks and one Nigerian who were part of the crew.
