GAZA, April 5 (Saba) -- Five Palestinians were wounded and six others were arrested Monday following an attack by Israeli forces against citizens of the Sheikh Jarrah suburb north of occupied Al-Quds, according to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

Local radio stations reported that among the injured were three foreign women from World Council of Churches (WCC) as well as some citizens.

The Israeli forces arrested one civilian after dozens of settlers stormed the suburb of Sheikh Jarrah while pelting stones, leading to a brawl between the two sides leaving one settler wounded, according to the radio.

It said that the Israeli police intervened in the clashes and protected the citizens.
