CAIRO, December 19 (Saba) - The League of Arab States' Secretary General Amr Mousa met Saturday with the Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moller in Copenhagen, Qatar News Agency ) QNA) reported on Saturday.

The meeting, which was held on the sideline of the Climate Change Conference, discussed situation in the Middle East and climate issues raised at the summit.

In a statement issued by the League of Arab state Saturday said that Amr Moussa made a statement before the summit, which highlighted a common Arab vision to the global climate change crisis, referring to the agreement reached by the League's member states to reduce the climate change's impacts and its consequences in a coordination with G77.

Moussa called on the Summit to reach a "just" deal in taking responsibilities and financial commitments to ensure clarity and transparency.

Secretary-General stressed that the League of Arab State is aware of the Climate change's impacts, noting that the Arab region is the most vulnerable to climate change hazards that threaten coastal areas and cause more desertification and drought.
